After their highly acclaimed records "In.Dub.Out" (2006) and "Near Dub Experience" (2004) the third album of Guns of Brixton intensifies their status of one of the most important collums of the frence dub-rock-scene.
Rooted in hardcore punk rock and including a rich mixture of drum & bass, heavy dub, longinly melodies and ambient sounds and feedbacks the tight and eclectic sound of "Cap Adare" could melt an iceberg. Mastered at the Tonteknik Studio (of "Refused-" and "Cult of Luna" - fame) the album turns out to be multitudinous monster in post rock (if you need to categorize).
For those who admire bands like Mono, Explosions in the Sky, Isis and (the mandatory) Mogwai "Cap Adare" could become their next favourite record for the island.
It's highly recommendet to read through this great review of The Silent Ballet to get a little closer to what this album is about.
